About us

Voluntary Action South West Surrey operates in the boroughs of Guildford and Waverley to do three things:

1) help people to find volunteering opportunities and organisations recruit volunteers by running Volunteer Centres

2) offer free information, advice and support to community and voluntary groups to help them be as effective as possible

3) act as the central point of contact to find out about the estimated 1600 voluntary and community groups operating in our area.

Membership of Voluntary Action South West Surrey is FREE to all voluntary and community groups in Guildford and Waverley. Discover the benefits of membership and find out how to join.

We have been funded to provide our services by the Big Lottery Fund, Surrey County Council, Waverley Borough Council, Farnham Town Council, Guildford Borough Council and the Surrey Primary Care Trust.
