Volunteering

Volunteers can do almost anything from delivering meals on wheels, coaching a local football club, dog-walking to art conservation. Through volunteering you can make a vital contribution to your local community and learn invaluable skills.  Like many others, though, you can do it just for fun.   There are very few barriers to volunteering.  For more information you may wish to visit the ‘do-it’ list of frequently asked questions. 

At each of our Centres we welcome anyone who is interested in volunteering. You can visit for an informal chat and we can offer guidance on suitable opportunities.  We also offer confidential, one to one, interviews at each of the Centres.
